Nowadays there are existing only a few masters in this trade cause of the extremely demanding procedure of the enamelling, where a fine pulverised and moistened frit is melted on a metal base by means of high temperature. Using solid silver sheets, gold threads of 18c gold are artfully applied and melted on by hand. Into this tessellation from gold threads, the finely wrought enamel is gated and melted on by a temperature of 800 centigrade. The complete production procedure of one single Schaumburger dial plate takes up to 10 days. Like a unicum is each enamelled Classoco Unikatorium a unique copy.
