Since its founding, the Etruscan civilization has specialized in the ancient
practice of gold granulation, a refined and elegant workmanship technique
whereby the surface of a jewel is decorated with small spheres of gold
according to a design pattern.
Jewels, thus obtained, were unique, rich and very luxurious and they’ve
helped in characterizing the Etruscan Age as a bright example of the “craft
of jewelry”.
