The 0850R Retro Alarm is Waldan’s vintage inspired, dual crown alarm wristwatch. The 0850 is cased in an 18K solid rose gold case of 38mm diameter with a an 18K solid rose gold “pressure” back and two solid gold knurled crowns at the 2 and 4 o’clock positions. One crown for time/date setting and one crown for alarm winding and setting. The crystal is made of contoured sapphire and the lug width is 19mm.

The dial is porcelain enamel with painted breguet markers, black hands or (optional) gold hands with tritium, red center snake hand for alarm use. A window at the 3 o’clock position is used for reading the date.

The 0850R’s complications are date at the 3 o’clock position and alarm that rings for 13 seconds on a full wind. The movement is a 1970-1974 Vintage Retro Alarm caliber AS 1931 manual winding movement (17 jewels, 21,600 vph/3Hz) by Adolph Schild S.A. The straps are all genuine alligator/crocodile skin and the buckle is an 18KT solid rose gold buckle of 16mm.
