Just look at that dial! Be sure to zoom in to admire the different textures of the hand made guilloche dial. The dial is actually solid gold and then silver plated. This gives the silver a warm glow.
Side note, about 25 years ago, in my own personal quest to always investigate watches, I wanted to test a Breguet dial to see if it was really solid gold. (40 years of collecting perhaps has made me a bit skeptical of some watch companies claims) After some digging I found a loose dial at an auction so I bought it, just so I could test the material. I can verify, it really is solid gold!
Of course the dial is complemented by those classic blued Breguet hands. The subdial at 6:00 shows the date, at the upper left of the dial is the power reserve and at the upper right, the moon phase display.
