Watch collectors have seen champleve dials on watches before and they have always been revered. Only the best manufacturers can produce them. Each color has to be applied and fired in the kiln one at a time. First the bronze case of this piece is hand carved and a border is carved around where each color will go. Then, because each different color enamel has to be fired at a different temperature for a different amount of time, a careful plan is set as to the location and timeline of applying the different colors. This particular piece took about two months of enamel application and firing. To top it all off, the bronze case is also set with diamonds on the front of the lugs and sapphires on the side of the lugs as well as in between the lugs on the side of the case. The crown is set with rubies. Every time you look at this piece you'll notice another amazing detail!
