Magnificent and simple, warm and energetic: The new NEVA by Alexander Shorokhoff.

The next successor to the new NEVA series is also inspired by Europe's mighty and most water-rich river, the Neva, which flows through Saint Petersburg.

In this color version, Alexander Shorokhov concentrated more on the magnificent, historic city center, Saint Petersburg, which, with its 2,300 palaces, magnificent buildings and castles, has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991 under the collective term Historic Centre of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments.

Alexander Shorokhov was particularly fond of the Amber Room, a state room whose walls were covered with amber, gold and mirror elements. Tsarina Elisabeth had it installed in the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg in 1741 and finally in the Catherine Palace in Tsarskoye Selo (Tsar's Village) in 1755. Amber is a clear to opaque yellow gemstone made of fossil resin that has been known and used for thousands of years. But amber can do much more: it is also known to have a special energy. It has a protective, cheerful, warm and positive effect. It can even help to drive away negative feelings.

So if you wear the new, warm brownish version of the new NEVA, it reminds you of all these positive emotions and aspects of life. The various warm brown tones make it look like the Amber Room, very magnificent and powerful, but on the other hand the warm colors come across as very natural and simple. Everything is harmoniously matched.

The wave-shaped guilloché of the dial and the small curved second hand, which is shaped like the letter "N" and thus refers to the name of the watch and the splendor of the city, remain as in the previous models. The silver-colored hands and the large silver-colored number "60" provide a nice contrast to the warm color image. The case has a brownish IP coating, an ion plating. The beautiful, warm case is completed with a real crocodile leather strap in a light brown color.

The movement uses the Russian caliber 3105.Poljot, which is derived from the Swiss Valjoux caliber 7734, but without the chronograph function. The movement is completely overhauled, re-oiled, adjusted and tested at the "Alexander Shorokhoff" watch manufacturer. As always with watches of the "Alexander Shorokhoff" brand, the bridges are hand-engraved or given a cloud finish and the screws are polished and blued. This beauty can be viewed through the sapphire glass. These movements are no longer reproduced today. The "Alexander Shorokhoff" watch manufacturer has, however, secured a limited quantity and is producing this series in a small, limited number.
