Genuine masterpieces of mechanics and musical culture

All our organ clocks are as one with the masterpieces of the highest traditional clockmaking and organ building. In addition to the knowledge and experience in the design and construction of the fine mechanical movements and organs we can fall back on a wealth of in-house experience in dealing with the smaller organ works.

Even if strongly reminiscent, the organ clock pipe-works are very different in their construction in comparison with the traditional major pipe organs. Room instruments, as organ clocks are, are driven with much less wind pressure. The leather of the bellows must be treated differently and the intonation of the pipes is done with the patience and meticulous precision of the dedicated clockmaker.

The wood for the frames, music barrels and wind chests of the organ clocks are stored for several years at room temperature. This ensures that the wood does not warp when it becomes an integral part of an organ clock.

Each organ clock is a unique piece

Each organ clock from our manufactory represents a completely new in-house development that technically has nothing in common with the historical examples of the prime, late 18th century organ clockmaking. Every organ clock that leaves our clock workshop is unique. Each music barrel is a living piece of musical culture and is individually hand-marked and pinned. Thus preserved, this music can be experienced for many family generations when other possessions have been consigned to the past.
